Celiac Disease Awareness is Growing

Many of the people that approach us at Mrs. Root's often share with us that many of their friends and family do not understand the severity of symptoms and long range damage that occur when eating products that contain gluten.  Luckily, more information and awareness of this disease is becoming available.  The NIH reports that 1 in 133 people in the US have been diagnosed with celiac disease.  The NIH has just created a new website with lots of information and links on celiac disease-- the website is: http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/pubs/celiac/
